Ramón Álvarez, journalist at Radio Marca, has delivered worrying news to Real Madrid fans regarding the injury of English midfielder Jude Bellingham.
Bellingham’s injury is more severe than first thought
According to the same source, the injury Bellingham picked up during the La Liga clash against Rayo Vallecano on February 1st—which Real Madrid won 2-1—is more serious than initially assessed. It will require a longer recovery period, potentially sidelining him for several additional weeks.

The journalist clarifies that the midfielder’s absence is not expected to be limited to just one month, as was first hoped. Instead, if current medical evaluations are confirmed, Bellingham could be out for nearly two months.
Álvarez adds that the available information gives little hope for a swift return for the English midfielder, whose comeback could be pushed back to April.
This extended absence would present a real challenge for Real Madrid, as they could be without Bellingham for key fixtures, including both legs against Benfica in the Champions League, as well as several La Liga matches against Real Sociedad, Osasuna, Getafe, Celta Vigo, Elche, and Atlético Madrid.
