Tension has increased again between Afghanistan and Pakistan. According to media reports, Afghanistan has retaliated and so far captured eight posts of Pakistani Army.
Sources told TOLOnews that fighting continues between the two sides in border areas like Nangarhar, Nuristan, Kunar, Khost, Paktia and Paktika. These posts are located in Goshta district of Nangarhar and near the Durand Line in Kunar province.
Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid has said that Pakistan’s air strikes are being responded to militarily.
Actually, Pakistan had carried out air strikes inside Afghanistan a few days ago. Pakistan said that these attacks were carried out on targets associated with Pakistani Taliban (TTP) and Islamic State.
Pakistan’s Information Minister Attaullah Tarar had said that this action was taken on the basis of intelligence information and such operations will be conducted in future also if needed.
