At the same time, in Pakistan, government vehicles will get 50% less fuel for two months and 60% government vehicles will not run on the roads. All government departments will cut their expenditure by 20%.

Sharif said that due to the US-Israel-Iran conflict, the price of crude oil has increased from $60 to more than $100 per barrel. For this reason these decisions have been taken.

Pakistan has increased the prices of petrol and diesel by about 20%. The prices of petrol and diesel have been increased by up to Rs 55 (Pakistani Rupee) per liter.

After this increase, the price of petrol in Pakistan has now become Rs 335.86 per liter. Whereas diesel has reached the level of Rs 321.17 per liter.

Limit on sale of petrol and diesel in Bangladesh

The Bangladesh government has had to impose limits on the sale of petrol and diesel. In many cities including Dhaka, there are long queues outside petrol pumps and people are trying to save money by buying more oil due to fear.

Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) has imposed strict rules to prevent hoarding and rumours. Now motorcyclists can buy only 2 liters of petrol a day.

A maximum limit of 10 liters has been set for private cars, while for buses and trucks the limit has been kept between 70 to 220 litres. It has been made mandatory to produce receipt at every petrol pump and new fuel will not be available without showing the receipt of previous purchase. The government has appealed to the people not to panic and hoard oil.

Petrol and diesel prices in India will remain stable for now

According to government sources, there is no possibility of increase in the prices of petrol and diesel in India at present. Officials say that until the price of crude oil in the international market does not cross $ 130 per barrel, the prices in the domestic market will remain stable.

As per current estimates, crude oil is expected to be around $100 per barrel.
