Sarabjit’s first Punjabi NRI husband Karnail Singh has also filed a petition in the Lahore High Court. In which he claimed that Pakistani Nasir Hussain blackmailed Sarabjit and called him to Pakistan. Then forcefully married her. He has demanded that the High Court register a rape case against Nasir and return Sarabjit to India. On this, the court has summoned all the documents related to it.

They were sent to me, his (Sarabjeet’s) brother and also my children. After that Sarabjit started committing suicide, who was saved with great difficulty. This happened 2 years before going to Pakistan.
At that time we had appealed to Pakistan to stop it. But he did not stop. Kept sending photos again and again. He used to force Sarabjit to come to Pakistan. She used to say that Nasir blackmails and asks for money. Due to this reason she was not keeping well. Sarabjeet is a patient of depression.
The husband also claimed that she still calls when she is sad and on the verge of death. She says I am sad, on the verge of dying, don’t know when I will die. Karnail demanded from Lahore High Court that Sarabjit be sent back to India. A case of rape should be registered against Nasir Hussain.
