Amid the ongoing war in the Middle East, two more Indian ships Nanda Devi and Jag Ladki will reach Mundra Port in Gujarat today. These ships are coming to India carrying oil and gas from the Strait of Hormuz. About 46 thousand metric tons of LPG is loaded on the Nanda Devi ship, while the Jag Ladki ship is coming to India with about 81 thousand tons of crude oil. Earlier, the Indian ship Shivalik carrying LPG had reached Mundra port on Monday. This ship has brought about 46 thousand metric tons of LPG, which is equivalent to approximately 32.4 lakh domestic gas cylinders. India has deployed two of its warships near the Strait of Hormuz. ANI quoted sources as saying that these task force ships of the Indian Navy will provide security to merchant ships and tankers coming to India carrying oil and gas.
