Tanyaradzwa Prospera Dengue alias Tanya, a Zimbabwean student in Ludhiana, is a trend on social media these days. The video made by this 21-year-old foreign student studying at CT University in a bus has garnered more than 24 lakh views on Instagram within a few days. Tanya told that she had shot this video in Jagraon. When people were getting down from the bus, they saw the conductor shouting “Moga-Moga”. Tanya said, “I thought that I would also help. Then I myself started saying ‘Moga-Moga, Aajo-Aajo’ and asked the conductor to make a video. The video went viral and I became famous. Tanya, crazy about Punjabi language and food, is now slowly learning Punjabi and she also likes the food here. Parathas and butter chicken are her favourites. She said, “Punjabi people are very helpful and very friendly to foreigners. Give respect. I feel at home here. Tanya said that words like “Sat Shri Akal, Namaste, Hanji, O Paaji Kiven Ho Tusi” have now become a part of her everyday life. Tanya, who recently returned from Amritsar, was extremely impressed by the beauty and peace of the Golden Temple. He said that the lake, langar service and spiritual atmosphere there is very relaxing. That place is not only beautiful, it is also very special. Tanya has traveled to many parts of the country including Manali. He said that the diversity of India, from the mountains to the splendor of Punjab, has been a memorable experience for him. Now Tanya will make a video on LPG crisis. After going viral, Tanya is now working on new content. He told that he is planning to make a video on the issue of shortage of LPG cylinders which is being discussed across the country, so that he can show this problem from the perspective of an international student. Confused about his future: Regarding his future, Tanya said that after completing his studies, he was first thinking of returning to Zimbabwe. But considering the current circumstances, we are now considering staying in India. Giving a message to other international students, Tanya said that focus on your studies and do what makes you happy, this is most important.
