NASA’s lunar mission after 50 years: Christina will be the first woman of Artemis-2 mission; 4 astronauts in the team

American space agency NASA’s Artemis-2 mission has reached the final stages of preparation for the first human journey to the moon after 50 years. Four astronauts have reached Kennedy Space Center in Florida, from where their approximately 10-day mission will launch. This mission will return to Earth after flying around the Moon and test the capability of the Orion spacecraft. Let us tell you that the launch of Artemis-2 mission is scheduled around April 1, although the final date will depend on technical preparations. Reed Wiseman (Commander) – 50-year-old former Navy pilot, having spent 165 days on the International Space Station. Wiseman, father of two daughters, is leading this mission. Victor Glover (Pilot) – 49-year-old Glover will be the first Black astronaut to walk on the moon. He is an experienced Navy pilot. Christina Koch (mission specialist) – 47-year-old engineer, record 328 days in space. She will be the first woman to go to the moon. Jeremy Hansen (Canada) – 50-year-old fighter pilot, first space traveler and first non-American to walk on the moon.
