Basmati rice of 1121 variety is preferred in Gulf countries. He has been doing Basmati rice export work for the last 15 years. Lakhs of tonnes of rice are being sent from India to Gulf countries. Rice stuck on the way due to war He told that even now lakhs of tonnes of Basmati rice has been sent by him to Gulf countries including Dubai, Iran, which is stuck on the way due to Iran-Israel war. He told that he has about 150 containers, some of which are in ships, sea, ports or trucks and are stuck there. All the goods are stuck on the way. However, rice is being exported by them as per the already fixed freight. Now the situation has become such that shipping agencies are demanding $2000 per container in the name of war charges for the rice that is stuck on the way due to the war. Due to which the price of rice will increase by Rs 800 per quintal, but they do not have that much margin. Margin of one-two rupees per kg: Gumber He is working at a margin of one-two rupees per kg. In such a situation, he has demanded the intervention of the Central Government in this matter and has demanded a solution to the problem.
