WNBA star Caitlin Clark will appear on NBC’s “Basketball Night in America” prior to Sunday’s matchup between the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers at Madison Square Garden.
Clark will join host Maria Taylor and analysts Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady in the first of two NBC pregame gigs for the Indiana Fever guard this season.
“She’s had cameras pointed at her for years, and she’s certainly always put on a show with a basketball in her hand. And after a game ends, she’s always a great interview,” NBC Sports executive producer Sam Flood told The Associated Press. “She’s always so thoughtful in everything she says. And to have the ability to do that on this platform, with this team, it’s going to be a lot of fun to listen to it. That’s the beauty of who she is.”
The next time Clark will join NBC’s NBA pregame show will be on March 29 ahead of the Knicks-Thunder game in Oklahoma City.

The two-time WNBA All-Star and 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year is no stranger of NBC’s. In March 2024 she announced a marketing partnership with Xfinity, which is part of the Comcast/NBC family. A few weeks later she appeared during the ‘Weekend Update’ segment of “Saturday Night Live.”
Clark has also done some baseball commentary, which prompted both the Philadelphia Phillies and Milwaukee Brewers to invite her to their respective broadcast booths for a game.
Injuries limited the 23-year-old Clark to just 13 games with the Fever last season. During the opening day of training camp with the USA Basketball national team, she said she was feeling “100 percent.”

That’s good news for the Fever, who won the Commissioner’s Cup and reached the WNBA semifinals in 2025.
