Fatehgarh Sahib’s 42-year-old lawyer Harshwinder Singh Cheema has passed away in Canada. He died of a heart attack. This news has spread a wave of mourning among the advocates of Fatehgarh Sahib and their acquaintances. Harshwinder Singh Cheema had moved to Canada with his family about three years ago, where his wife and children were also living with him. While driving the car, Harshwinder Singh suddenly suffered a heart attack, due to which he died on the spot. When this news reached his native city and fellow lawyers, he expressed deep grief. Tribute meeting at Court Complex After this tragic incident, lawyers at Fatehgarh Sahib Court Complex expressed condolences. The Bar Association passed a condolence resolution and organized a tribute meeting for the peace of the departed soul in the Bar Room. The lawyers paid tribute to him by observing two minutes silence. ‘No work’ was observed in the courts today as a mark of mourning. Advocate Amardeep Singh Dharani said that Harshwinder Singh Cheema was a hardworking and friendly advocate, who practiced law for a long time in Fatehgarh Sahib and made his mark. He described his sudden demise as an irreparable loss. According to family members, his last rites will be performed in Canada as his entire family lives there.
