PM Modi met French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday. Both the leaders held a joint press conference in Mumbai. During this, Modi said that India and France together will build such a helicopter in India, which will fly to heights like Mount Everest. Modi described France as a special partner of India and said that both the countries have decided to upgrade their relations to the level of ‘Special Global Strategic Partnership’. ‘Special Global Strategic Partnership’ means that both the countries will not be limited to just trade or arms purchase, but will work together on security, technology, space, security of maritime areas and major global issues. Earlier, relations between the two countries were of ‘Strategic Partnership’ level. This partnership started in the year 1998. After this, while addressing the India-France Innovation Forum, Macron said that the CEOs of many big companies of the world are Indians. He said that the CEOs of Alphabet, Microsoft, IBM, Adobe and Palo Alto Networks are Indians.
