A youth from Moga district in Canada has been shot dead. He used to drive a taxi there. Some miscreants were chasing the woman sitting in his taxi. They opened fire on the taxi due to which the young man died on the spot. Deceased Davinder Singh, resident of village Daulatpura Niwan, had gone to Canada four years ago to earn. There is an atmosphere of mourning in the village due to the news of his death. Canadian Police has reached the incident site and started investigation. Police is searching for the accused. The woman who had escaped from the clutches of kidnappers was sitting in a taxi. According to the information, Davinder Singh was on duty in his taxi. Meanwhile, a woman came and sat in his car. It is being told that this woman was earlier kidnapped by some people and she escaped from their clutches and came in a taxi. He took it with him. The accused took the woman with them after killing Davinder. Shortly afterwards, armed men chasing the woman reached the spot. They opened fire on the taxi, killing taxi driver Davinder Singh on the spot. After committing the crime, the attackers fled taking the woman with them. As soon as the news of Davinder Singh’s death was received, there was mourning in his native village Daulatpura Niwan. According to the villagers, Davinder Singh was living abroad for a long time and raising his family. The family members and the people of the village have demanded the government to thoroughly investigate the matter and arrest the accused soon and give them strict punishment.
