World Updates: Two brothers of Indian origin sentenced to 835 years in America, convicted in medical scam

In America, two brothers of Indian origin have been sentenced to 835 years in jail in a fraud case. Bhaskar Savani and Arun Savani, residents of Pennsylvania, USA, are accused of committing several scams related to healthcare and H-1B visa. His associate Aleksandra Ola Radomik has also been found guilty in the case. According to the US Justice Department, both the brothers committed fraud by creating a network of companies and dental clinics for about 10 years. He defrauded Medicaid of more than $30 million (about Rs 250 crore) and also billed for treatments that were not done. It is alleged that he also installed dental implants without approval. Also, fake applications were made to call employees from foreign countries, especially India, through H-1B visa and many employees were pressurized to withdraw part of their salary.
