It is alleged that instead of taking them to Canada, the agents took both the youth to Kazakhstan and held them hostage in a hotel there. They tied their hands and mouth with tape and beat them. He also attacked the youth with a blade on his waist. Made a video of the fight and demanded Rs 20 lakh. The family also sent Rs 10 lakh out of fear. He contacted the immigration number, where he spoke to a person named Manpreet. Later Manpreet introduced him to a person named Jashn. Jashn finalized a deal to send Nikhil to Canada for Rs 22 lakh. Balkar, who went to Nikhil-Hemraj on February 28, further told that the agents got all the documents of his son online. On the night of 28 February, around 8 pm, the son was called to Delhi airport and asked to bring 500 dollars with him. The family gave 500 dollars to Nikhil and he left for abroad by plane. Another young man named Hemraj had also gone with Nikhil. Later it was revealed that the agents had booked Nikhil’s flight from Mumbai to Kazakhstan. Hands and mouth tied with tape, cut with a blade. He told that a person named Sonu came to pick up Nikhil at the airport and said that he would have to stay in the hotel for three hours. After this, Nikhil and another youth Hemraj were taken hostage. The accused told about cutting him with a blade, putting tape on his mouth and beating him by hanging him upside down. Demanded Rs 20 lakh by sending video. To save his son’s life, he took a loan and sent Rs 10 lakh. Despite this, Nikhil was not spared. Two people who came to collect money were handed over to the police. Balkar Singh said that on March 2, four people had come to Sadarpur village to collect money. We caught two of them and handed them over to Gharaunda police station, while the two accused fled from the spot. Nikhil is their only son and they had raised money by taking a loan to send him to Canada. Now Rs 10 lakh has also been given as ransom by taking a loan. Foreign sending agents have a hand in this. Case registered against 4 people: Gharaunda police registered a case against Manpreet, Jashan, Parminder Kaur and Sonu on March 9 on Balkar’s complaint. The investigation of the case has been handed over to Sub Inspector Umesh. Executive police station in-charge Rajkumar said that all the records are being collected from the family of the foreign youth. Based on that, further investigation has been started.
