French President Emmanuel Macron has welcomed the US Supreme Court’s decision to declare Donald Trump’s emergency tariffs illegal. During the annual agricultural fair in Paris on Saturday, he said that in a democracy, along with power, control over it is also necessary.
Macron said, “It is not bad to have a Supreme Court and the rule of law. In a democracy, both power and balance are necessary.” On Trump’s new 10% global tariff, Macron said that France will assess its impact and take its steps accordingly.
He made it clear that France wants to continue exporting its agricultural, luxury, fashion and aeronautical products. Macron said that in the current situation, calm and balanced thinking is necessary.

11 year old child accused of murder of adoptive father, was angry over snatching of gaming device
Clayton, an 11-year-old boy in Pennsylvania, USA, is accused of shooting and killing his adoptive father. The incident happened at home on January 13, the night of his birthday. It is being told that he was angry over the gaming console being taken away. A gaming console is an electronic machine that allows video games to be played on a TV or monitor.
A case of criminal murder has been registered against him. Considering the seriousness of the crime, the court has ordered him to be tried as an adult instead of the juvenile court. The accused appeared in court for the first time on Thursday. He had handcuffs in his hands.
According to the police, there was an argument between the boy and his parents over video games. Police said the boy shot his 42-year-old father, Douglas Dietz, in the head while he was sleeping. He committed this crime by taking out a revolver from a safe kept in the bedroom of the house.
According to police, the shooting occurred sometime after midnight. The family had gone to sleep after celebrating the birthday. The child’s mother told the police that she woke up after hearing a loud noise. She tried to wake up her husband, but found that he was bleeding from his head and not moving at all.

Co-founder of British fashion company ASOS dies in Thailand: Fell from 17th floor, police suspect suicide
Quentin Griffiths, co-founder of British fast-fashion company ASOS, died after falling from the 17th floor in Pattaya, Thailand. Police have not found any evidence of any conspiracy or murder from the spot and initial investigation has raised the possibility of suicide.
According to Thai police, Griffiths fell from the balcony of an 18-storey apartment building in Pattaya on February 9. His body was found on the ground just below the balcony.
Investigation revealed that the apartment was locked from inside and there were no signs of forced entry. Even in the CCTV footage, no record of any other person coming and going in the room was found. Even in the post-mortem report, no signs of any kind of conspiracy or attack were found.
Police said all evidence points towards suicide. Investigating officers found documents related to the ongoing cases from the apartment. According to police, Griffiths was concerned about a legal dispute with his ex-wife.
According to reports, his second wife, who is a Thai national, had accused him of embezzling more than $6.73 lakh from the business they shared.
Last year, he was also arrested for selling land shares by manipulating documents. He was later released, but the investigation was ongoing. Quentin Griffiths founded ASOS in London with Nick Robertson, Andrew Reagan and Deborah Thorpe.
It later became a global online fashion marketplace, where hundreds of brands and own-label products were sold. At one time the valuation of the company reached more than 6 billion euros and later above 8 billion dollars.
