Opposition alleges on Bangladesh elections – collusion between India, BNP and Awami League affected the results

After the poor performance in the recent elections of Bangladesh, the National Citizens Party (NCP) has made a big allegation. Party convenor Naheed Islam has claimed that the election results were manipulated and that the ruling BNP colluded with India and Hasina’s Awami League.
Addressing a press conference at the NCP office in Dhaka on Thursday, Naheed said the election process was fair but the results were manipulated. According to Bangladeshi newspaper ‘Prothom Alo’, Naheed claimed that there was a ‘secret agreement’ between India, Awami League and BNP.
In the general elections held on 12 February, BNP won a majority by winning 212 out of 297 seats. Jamaat-e-Islami got 68 seats, while NCP was reduced to just 6 seats.

Macron told Meloni- Be careful with yourself; Italy PM gave statement on the murder of right wing activist in France

After the murder of a right-wing activist in France, sharp statements have started between French President Emmanuel Macron and Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni. Quentin Deranc, 23, died after being beaten during a demonstration on 12 February.
Meloni blamed leftist extremist groups for this incident. On this, Macron gave a strong reply and said that every country should limit itself to its own affairs.
Meloni wrote on social media on Wednesday that “this murder carried out by groups linked to left-wing extremism is a wound for the whole of Europe.”
Macron expressed his displeasure while talking to journalists during his visit to India on Thursday. He said, “Those who talk about nationalism and do not want anyone to interfere in the affairs of their country, they are the first to comment on the incidents happening in other countries.”
When asked if he was referring to Meloni, Macron replied, “You got it right.”
In response, Meloni said in an interview to Italian news channel Sky TG24 that Macron had misunderstood his statement. “I regret that Macron took this as interference,” he said.
Quentin Deranc was beaten to death during a right-wing demonstration in Lyon. 11 people were arrested in this case.
Bangladesh restores visa service in Delhi after 2 months, decision taken 3 days after Tariq Rahman became PM

India-Bangladesh relations seem to be beginning to soften. Bangladesh High Commission on Friday resumed visa services for Indian citizens in Delhi. This decision has come three days after Bangladesh’s new Prime Minister Tariq Rahman took office.
Visa and consular services were stopped after tensions between the two countries increased in December. Now this is being considered as the first step towards improving relations.
According to India Today report, all categories of visa services have been restored for Indians. A day before this, a senior consular officer of India had also said that New Delhi will soon restore all visa services in Bangladesh.
Relations between the two countries deteriorated after the assassination of anti-India youth leader Sharif Usman Hadi in December. There were massive protests in Bangladesh after Hadi’s death.
Anti-India slogans were raised in these demonstrations. During this period, many Hindus were targeted and incidents of their lynching came to light. After this, diplomatic tension between the two countries increased significantly and visa services were stopped.
There have been signs of improvement in relations with India after the removal of Mohammad Yunus from power in Dhaka and Tariq Rahman becoming the Prime Minister. The decision to restore visa service in Delhi is being considered as an initial step in this direction.
Trump orders release of files related to UFOs and aliens, says every information will be brought forward

US President Donald Trump said on Thursday that he is ordering government agencies to start the process of finding and releasing files related to UFOs and aliens. For many years some people were demanding to make these files public.
Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social that he would direct the Secretary of Defense and other relevant departments to identify and release government files related to alien life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) and unidentified flying objects (UFOs).
He did not say whether secret documents would also be brought before the public. He simply said that every kind of information related to these matters should be included.
Earlier on the day, Trump claimed that former President Barack Obama had recently revealed secret information while talking about the existence of aliens in a viral podcast.
Obama told podcast host Brian Tyler Cohen that aliens ‘are real’, but he has not seen them and they are not housed in Area 51. Area 51 is a very secret military base of America, about which many conspiracy stories have been related. Obama also said that there is no secret bunker facility.
When Trump was asked questions on Obama’s statement, he said that Obama gave classified information, which he should not have done. However, Trump did not make it clear what Obama said was being considered confidential. He also said that Obama made a big mistake.
Court asked Zuckerberg on children’s addiction to social media – will a 9 year old child read your terms and conditions?

Mark Zuckerberg was asked tough questions in a court in Los Angeles, America. The matter is related to children getting addicted to social media. During the hearing, the judge and lawyers asked whether platforms like Instagram and Facebook deliberately show such content to children which can cause them addiction and harm them.
This matter is related to Meta, the parent company of Instagram and Facebook. During the hearing, Zuckerberg appeared uncomfortable on some questions and also appeared angry on the arguments of the lawyers.
Zuckerberg said in court that his company has improved methods of identifying underage children. He also admitted that many children do not reveal their real age while creating an account and enter a false age. The company tries to identify and remove such accounts.
The lawyers filing the case raised the question whether a 9 year old child can read the long and difficult conditions written while creating an account? He said that children of such a young age cannot understand the terms and conditions, then how does the company assume that they are creating the account after understanding everything.
India joins US alliance ‘Pax Silica’, initiative to secure semiconductor supply chain

India on Friday joined the US-led strategic alliance ‘Pax Silica’. This alliance was launched in December 2025. Its objective is to secure the supply chain of AI and semiconductor in the world and reduce dependence on non-cooperative countries.
With India’s participation, the relations between the two countries will become stronger. Especially cooperation will increase in important minerals, semiconductor production and rapidly growing Artificial Intelligence (AI) sector. This will help in creating a secure and strong global technology system.
This decision is being taken at a time when efforts are going on to finalize the trade agreement between Delhi and Washington. Both countries want to further strengthen mutual relations.
Apart from America, this alliance includes countries like Australia, Greece, Israel, Japan, Qatar, South Korea, Singapore, UAE and Britain.
What will Pax Silica do?
America’s Under Secretary for Economic Affairs Jacob Helberg said that in the 20th century, oil and steel took the world forward, but in the 21st century the world is running on computers. Minerals like lithium and cobalt are essential for making computers and AI systems.
The purpose of Pax Silica is to create a joint plan with trusted countries to create future AI and technology systems. This initiative covers every part of the technology supply chain, such as energy, essential minerals, high-tech manufacturing, chips and AI models.
The countries involved agree to work together for technological progress, economic security and prosperity.
What is its main purpose?
The purpose of this alliance is to bring together countries that are ahead in technology. Working together will unlock the full economic potential of AI and foster a new AI-based economy.
Pax Silica’s manifesto states that the technological revolution of AI is moving forward very rapidly. It is changing the world economy and global supply chains.
Energy demand is increasing due to AI, as large computer systems and data centers require more electricity to run. Along with this, the demand for essential minerals, chips, electronics, infrastructure and new markets is also increasing rapidly.
A major goal of this initiative is that no country should be too dependent on any one country. That is, complete dependence on any one country for raw materials, technology or products should be reduced, so that trade pressure or political pressure can be avoided.
The second objective is to create a secure digital infrastructure and ensure that modern technology cannot be stolen or misused.
