President Trump said that Putin’s participation in this summit could be beneficial. He also admitted that it was his mistake to expel Russia from G8. Russia says that it considers G20 as an important forum amid the current global crisis, hence its participation is certain. Although it has not been confirmed whether Putin will attend. Any representative can also attend in his place. Putin last attended the G20 meeting in 2019.
