Calculate your net take-home salary after deductions.
Your Salary Breakdown
⚙️ How it works
This calculator computes your net salary by adding all earnings (Basic Pay, HRA, Allowances, Bonus) and subtracting the total deductions.
Formula:
Worked Example:
Basic Pay = ₹30,000
HRA = ₹15,000
Allowances = ₹5,000
Bonus = ₹2,000
Deductions = ₹4,000
Calculation:
Gross Monthly = 30,000 + 15,000 + 5,000 + 2,000 = ₹52,000
Net Monthly = 52,000 – 4,000 = ₹48,000
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in deductions?
Typically, deductions include Employee Provident Fund (EPF), Professional Tax (PT), ESI, and health insurance premiums. Some companies may also deduct advance tax or loan repayments.
Is HRA always taxable?
HRA is partially taxable. The exempt portion is the least of: actual HRA received, 50% of salary (for metro cities), or rent paid minus 10% of salary. This calculator assumes HRA is fully taxable for simplicity.
Why is my net salary different from my CTC?
CTC (Cost to Company) includes employer contributions (PF, insurance, etc.) and other benefits. Net salary is what you actually receive in hand after all deductions.
