A Sikh youth has been racially attacked in Geelong city of Australia. Harmanpreet Singh, 22, was first racially abused and then attacked outside the gym. The attacker attacked Harmanpreet Singh’s nose due to which his nasal bone was broken. According to Australian media reports, Harmanpreet Singh lives in Geelong city of Victoria State in Australia. He is working as a medical attendant in the local hospital. The incident happened late night on 18 February when he was working out in the gym in Koryo area. It is alleged that some youths inside the gym made racial remarks at him and asked him to go back. According to Harmanpreet Singh, when he came out of the gym, three youths chased him and then surrounded him and attacked him. An attacker hit him on the nose with his head. Due to which the bone of his nose broke and he fell down bleeding. The attackers then fled in a gray car. With the help of local people, Harmanpreet was taken to the hospital, where doctors confirmed a fracture in her nose. Doctors say he may need surgery. He is also mentally hurt after the incident and is feeling insecure about returning to the gym. Harmanpreet Singh told the story of the attack.. Harmanpreet Singh gave a complaint to Victoria Police. After the attack, Victoria Police reached the spot. Harmanpreet Singh has complained about this matter to the police. After the complaint, the police has started investigating the damp case. Police have started scanning the surrounding CCTV footage and efforts are on to identify the attackers. Officials have said that if the attack is of racial violence, a case will be registered against the accused soon.
