Trump’s dealmaker Zampoli in discussion: $20 billion deals in 20 minutes; He introduced me to Melania, won her trust by making a deal with Boeing

A deal worth ’20 billion dollars in 20 minutes’ is the claim of US President Donald Trump’s special envoy Paolo Zampoli (56). Recently he has come into limelight by being involved in the nuclear energy deal in Hungary with Vice President JD Vance. Zampoli, who has been called a ‘deal machine’ for Trump, is completely different from the old styles of diplomacy. Zampoli-Trump’s relationship started in the high-society of New York in the 90s. Trump was a successful businessman then, but his access to the rich was limited. Through his modeling agency ‘ID Models’, Zampoli got top models and European rich people to enter Trump’s parties, which made his image a ‘global brand’ and created a relationship of trust. Coming from an Italian business family, Zampoli arrived in New York in 1998 and set up an agency here. Meanwhile, at a fashion party, he introduced Trump to Slovenian model Melania, who later became his wife. Later, he became International Development Director in ‘Trump Organization’ and played a role in many property deals. After coming to power, Trump visited Uzbekistan in September 2025, when Rs 37,164 crore was spent. When the proposal for Rs 4.64 lakh crore aircraft came, he rejected it by calling it a ‘small deal’ and directly placed a demand of Rs 4.64 lakh crore. Zampoli claims that within a few minutes the deal reached Rs 1.86 lakh crore. However, later the Trump administration announced the purchase for Rs 74 thousand crores, in which further options were also added. Zampoli is very active in diplomacy. Ambassador to the UN for Dominica in 2013, became Italy’s unofficial ambassador in 2025. Currently, as a special envoy, he visits many countries and makes deals in American interests. They clearly say that if you want to please the President then buy American products like Boeing. Recently, the deal for ‘Donald J Trump Park’ in Romania was also done with this access. Trump’s straightforward, transactional approach is what makes him special. Jampoli used to give truckloads of toys to airport workers. In the 90s, Jampoli’s company used to make toys in Italy. There he used to gift trucks full of toys to the security officials at Milan Airport for the unhindered entry of VIP guests. It was from here that he learned the art of turning the system in his favor. Which today makes him the most trusted face of Trump’s ‘Global Deal Machine’.
